Coral Island is usually accessed from Chalong Bay, and it is a short boat ride away to beautiful beaches and idyllic seas. Otherwise known as Koh Hae, Coral Island’s relative inaccessibility make it a great place for a quiet swim or sunbathe. The clear waters during high season offer great opportunities for snorkeling, where you can see the coral reefs and exotic fish swimming beneath you. Even in low season, the seas are usually relatively calm around Coral Island. Naturally, it has become fairly popular with tourists who have done their homework, so there are delicious seafood and western food restaurants on the island. The little bungalow dwellings can be rented if you want to stay here for a few days, and many tourists do just that.
