San Jao Chui Tui is one of the bigger and more famous Taoist Shrines in Phuket Town. It is one of the key gathering areas for the Vegetarian Festival in Phuket, but it is also open to the public all year around. The traditional Chinese religious colors of red and gold are used to decorate the shrine. It is said to be one of the most popular temples in Phuket for the Chinese community of Buddhists. There is plenty to see and do around the area – some delicious vegetarian food is on offer nearby as you might expect.
