The Sirinat National Park is close to Nai Yang Beach and Phuket Airport, and it is a great place to visit for nature lovers. As of 1981, it became a protected nature preserve, covering almost 100 square kilometers of land, including a large variety of picturesque forest. There are walks that you can go on through Sirinat National Park, although you may wish speak to the park rangers before venturing out as they can offer you some valuable advice. The massive Nai Yang beach is considered part of the park, so no commercial development is allowed there, allowing you to sunbathe in isolated paradise. There are a great number of plants, trees and flowers to be seen within Sirinat National Park, making it a haven for botanists.
