The Banana disco is a long-standing Patong landmark, with its bamboo covering setting it apart from other nearby clubs. It can be found on the right-hand side of the beach road, about 100 meters before Bangla Road itself. It tends to attract a slightly older crowd than most other Patong nightclubs, giving it a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The club is split into two levels – the lower floor has comfy settees and a very nice bar. The upper floor is where the DJ and the dancing are to be found, and many people consider the Banana Disco their local nightclub. For a mellower vibe than other Patong clubs, it’s well worth a try.
