Possibly the biggest nightclub in Patong, the Tiger Disco is extremely popular with locals and vacationers alike. It can hold over 1000 people during busy nights, so you are guaranteed an atmosphere of enjoyable mayhem. They have their own waterfall in here and multiple levels, and it’s often possible to find a seat as most people are usually busy dancing. While the club doesn’t hire professional dancers, the local Thai girls and foreigners alike are often clustered around the poles, happily demonstrating their dancing abilities. The music is usually excellent in here – the DJs usually try to appeal to a wide range of clubbers, so there will almost certainly be some of your favorite dance numbers being played. The only flaw with the Tiger club is that the drinks tend to be expensive here, so it’s easy to rack up a large bar bill. Most people who visit Bangla Road end up at the Tiger at some point – it provides a very entertaining night out for more daring tourists.
