The Timber Hut is a true Thai-style nightclub based in Phuket Town. If you are bored of the Patong nightlife where a large percentage of the revelers are from abroad, the Timber Hut offers the genuine all-night Thai party experience. As with many Phuket Town clubs and Thai-style nightlifein general, it is commonly accepted practice to bring your own bottle of spirits to the club. As long as you pay for the mixers and tip generously, it is a very handy way to keep your night out relatively cheap. Virtually everybody at the Timber Hut is Thai, and most are there to let their hair down after a hard week’s work. It’s a great place for tourists to make friends with everyday Thai people, men and women alike. The live music is generally very good here – after 10PM it really starts to fill up, so if you want a seat you would be well advised to arrive early, especially at weekends.
