Rawai Beach
The golden sands of Rawai beach are loved by visitors and locals alike – it is a beautiful place to bathe in the sun. You can sip a refreshing cocktail from one of the beach bars, while watching the local fishermen go about their business in their elegant long-tail boats. The boating activities do mean that Rawai beach is not ideal for swimming. If you have come to Phuket to experience some Thai culture, Rawai is a great choice – many Thais live and work here, and there are plenty of authentic Thai shopping opportunities here for holidaymakers. Rawai beach boasts a fine selection of gourmet seafood restaurants, taking their deliciously-fresh catches from the nearby fisherman village.
