Central Festival is renowned as one of the largest shopping centers in Phuket, and they have an incredible range of shops and outlets to visit, many of them big international brands. Central Festival is said to be over 120,000 square meters in size, and it is possible to get lost within the myriad of shops. Parking here is plentiful – Central Festival is located on the bypass road just south of the big Tesco Lotus store. Naturally, Central Festival has a department store – the Central Department Store – which offers up a range of goods typical of a big shop of its class. Big stores such as Office Depot and HomeWorks have branches here, and there is a supermarket here known as the Central Food Hall. There is a 7 screen cinema for movie lovers here, and plans are underway to include a bowling alley and karaoke facilities. As you would expect, there are a wealth of restaurants here covering Asian and World cuisine. Central Festival is so big that it’s easy to spend all day here, and many people do just that.
