Not only does Phuket Island have wonderful dive sites such as Hin Mu Sang (Shark Point), Koh Racha, Anemone Reef and King Cruiser wreck, it is a kicking off point for places such as Phi Phi Island, Richelieu Rock, Koh Surin, the Mergui Archipelago, Burma Banks, Similan Islands and Koh Huyong with its world famous coral garden.

You can dive off and around Phuket all year round. The more predicable weather during November to mid May offers the best overall conditions. Trips are rarely cancelled during the rest of the year, but live-aboard and safari tours are less frequent.
