Weather, Phuket Travel Guide
Phuket has a typical tropical island climate with three seasons’.
November to February is the most popular with visitors. Generally with little rain, lower temperatures and clear blue skies.
March to April brings the hottest temperatures with more chance of showers during April.
May to October known as the ‘monsoon season’, still enjoys warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine. The rains can be short and heavy followed by sunshine or heavy and prolonged with spectacular thunderstorms. Often the rainfall occurs in the evening and during the night, so you can still enjoy your holiday activities. Some years July and August have lower rainfall, and are becoming increasingly popular.
